Ralph’s hydrotherapy sessions with Aimee have worked wonders, for his mobility, muscle growth, back/hip soreness and his confidence.
He loves wild swimming but was a little anxious and unsure of the indoor pool environment initially. Aimee is very dog-centred and that gave Ralph the time and space to get comfortable with her…by the second session he was in the pool and after that he looked forward to every session, pulling us through the door. He even accepted a warm shower (despite initial hesitancy).
He is now fully recovered and we will be bringing him back in winter months for fun swims and to aid his hip dysplasia.
Thank you Aimee and PawMotion, we can’t recommend you highly enough.

Elvis has been going to hydrotherapy for almost a year now, he can be reactive at times and over dramatic but Aimee has been patient and understanding of his needs while working with him. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate hydrotherapist!

Burt my Jack Russell hates water so when I found Aimee who specialises in nervous dogs I was so happy! She does 10 minute victory sessions free of charge where your dog allowed to walk freely around her centre with no pressure at all.
Her technique is to wait for your dog to engage with her, she will throw treats near your dog and gentle praise when they move close .
She doesn’t stare and watches very closely the body language of your dog ,quite frankly she is brilliant!!!
It took at least 6 victory sessions for Burt to get up the ramp and stand at the edge of the pool!!all done with calmness and building up his trust !
Burt was able to have 3 very small sessions but it was clear he wasn’t taking to it like duck to water so she suggested we try red light therapy instead.
Aimee still has to go at Burts pace which usually includes him taking 5 minutes to get into the centre by putting down a treat and verbally rewarded once eaten.
She is an expert at holding a handful of chicken in her hand while Burt has to lick and nibble at a tiny gap so he is distracted while she gently uses the light on each of his legs and neck.
Aimee is an expert at watching your dog , stance, movement etc and she picked up that actually Burt was more sore around the neck radiating down through his shoulders rather than his back legs
A quick chat with the vets of her observations and the treatment plan was tweaked .
Burts arthritis has improved and he is more relaxed with less pain .
Another bonus is that Burt is happy to walk in water in streams etc with water over his knees , totally unheard of before we started seeing Aimee .
I can highly recommend her services .

Bringing Nellie, our rescue Rottweiler, into our lives has been a gift. When we first brought her home, she was shy, nervous, and unsure of the world. After a painful cruciate injury left her barely able to walk, we were heartbroken and worried for her future -
until we found Aimee. Aimee's care has been nothing short of transformative. Through laser therapy and hydrotherapy, she's given Nellie back her strength, comfort, and joy. Our beautiful little girl now moves with ease, confidence, and a spark of playful energy we never thought we'd see again. What has touched us most is the trust Nellie has built with Aimee. The dog who once guarded her ball and kept her distance now gives it up happily to swim and even leans in for
cuddles. That change speaks louder than anything we could say. We are deeply grateful for Aimee's skill, patience, and genuine compassion. She hasn't just helped Nellie to get stronger but has helped her to heal and given her a happier, more
confident life, and for that we will always be thankful.
